| dc.description.abstract | The collection entitled “Studies in Grammar and Discourse in the Languages of the Americas” comprises four articles focused on different languages, Mapudungun (isolate), Aché (Tupi-Guaraní), Ayoreo (Zamuco), and Yaqui (Uto-Aztecan). This introduction starts by reviewing the current state of the art on the subject, providing extensive illustration of research and advances on languages of the Americas.
