Abstract

This paper examines the publications of the “Noticioso del Departamento de Radioenseñanza y Cinematografía Escolar” between 1952 and 1955. It seeks to understand the politics of the image that the Peronist government forged through cinematographic and radio productions, questioning the pedagogical resources used in the education of New Argentinians, their bodies and sensibilities. The analysis explores the relationship between sociopolitical context and pedagogical debates around the use of educational cinematography.
