La teoría y el análisis literario : la obra escrita de Jorge Panesi o como hacer de la crítica una acción transformadora

Abstract

Based on the idea that literary theory and textual analysis share a mutual foundation, we propose in this article to trace the theoretical and analytical conceptions in the work written by Jorge Panesi during his years in charge of the subject Literary Theory and Analysis C (1984-2016) to describe the critical apparatus proposed therein. It is proposed to see in the articles written by Panesi and published in his books Felisberto Hernández (1993) and Críticas (2004) the construction of conceptions and perspectives that always seek to produce transformative actions. Our hypothesis is that the central proposal in these two books was the reading of the material conditions of existence in literature in line with the persistent ethical concern of Panesi's production, always attentive to the institutional, historical, and ideological scenarios of the intellectual task.
