Los sentidos de silencio en los movimientos argentinos de género

Abstract

This work presents results and proposals of an ongoing project that studies the problem of silence by articulating materialist discourse theory, archival research and metalinguistic interventions of gender movements. The paper departs from a conceptual problematization that distinguishes between silence and silencing. The analytic proposal is sustained on a discursive approach of archive montage. The aim of the analyses is to expose persistence, regularities, and heterogeneities in the senses of silence that are (re)inscribed in materials from feminist and LGBTIQ+ archives and publications in Argentina.
